be clock the crooked tinkle
wrinkle of forget-me-not
the way the station of a cross is cleared for taking off

if it wasn't this then maybe it was that
for who the diamond thrill is gold
put silver polish and ceramic dust in bowls beside themselves

given the rights of passage and a song
no glow for clever testing
it's good for you and good for me and over far away

trip mellow cool the eyes abide
any fortune gone unspent
too crisp and clean the go me get from over there to here

so any way the dog decides
to true the gasping clasp
of common sense no longer one provides

not for free in any case
