You may think that maybe math(s) can do it, can explain it.

Math(s) is (are) a knowledge system, is (are) a language, and so is (are) not in itself (themselves) knowledge, knowing, meaning(ful). Although it (they) does (do) look very nice sometimes and it (they) can be said to be elegant in form.
