You Say You So

There is no saying no to somebody who is always saying yes. Even when they should say no. Even when they shouldn’t. Who is going to tell. There should be a capital. It is only fair. Things that do things automatically never are reliable. Things that don’t do things automatically are, always are reliably, to be unreliable.

There’s no counting on a thing but there’s counting up to something down to something and all that. Counting does go somewhere but it rarely ever stays there where it’s going where it’s gone.

Does it matter. What does it matter if it somehow does make sense. If it somehow does make sense then the rest of it don’t matter. No one really cares that it’s mistaken if they know what it is meaning to be saying.

That is why the mystery is so delightful magical to everyone who’s unbelieving and yet seeing it and knowing it and that is the same thing as anything is meaning anything of what you mean it to be meaning. You can mean it to be meaning but it’s meaning something else always all the time.

It is always saying you right back to you. And still you get across the street.

It's the flowing of awareness and attention. You are knowing you are you. You are thinking you are thinking. See the way you think and feel. When you're in it and you do not pay attention to your being in it. When you think about it afterwards. When you're planning for it. When you're trying to control it. When you’re cultivating something. When you follow. When you're led. When you're leading you. When you don't resist. The sounds. Where your feelings your attention goes. When to manage do and don't. Hitherto economy of harm.

Sometimes you can do something. Sometimes it is good. There is learning and development. There's enjoyment. There is making something stronger. There is doing something better and enjoying it more fully. There is never any way that you are not involved in some way. There can be an evolution. There can be a word that works for you.

There can be a way of responding that is automatic. You like it or you don't. You can see the way that someone is — and it's not about behaviour. It is sort of is the thing they do, but it's not the emphasis.

People do have will and interest. People are compelled.

Sometimes people do some things and you look at them. You don't really care about the things that they are doing. It is just an opportunity to look at them. When they are distracted and they are not looking at themselves, you can sometimes see them in a special sort of way. You could say that is pure or essential, but that also is confusing. Words have so much meaning sometimes and they sometimes don't have any.

When you look at someone for a short time it is different from when you look at them a long time. Some are looking for you, some are not. Some don't want to see you and some do. Some don't want you looking at them and some do. When their wanting is a part of it, one way or the other, then it makes it hard to see them in a special sort of way, like you do when they don't know you are looking at them. If you want to understand the way that people are, then you have to look at them. There are places where it is acceptable and places where it's not.
